6月の三本目、終了しました！

四回目となったSmooth Tribe、かなりホームライクな雰囲気の中で始まりました。進むにつれてどんどん気持ちが開いていく感じ。雨にも関わらずたくさんの方々にお越しいただき、自分のステージPsygeotic Starのステージ通して幸せを感じる瞬間が何度もありました。本当に皆さんありがとうございます！！
頭は意外と好評でした(笑)。
Just finished the third gig in June.
Smooth Tribe Vol.4 event started in homelike atmosphere. As it went on, I felt like my heart opening more and more. In spite the rain, many people came for us. There were so much moments when I could touch the "happiness" throughout my own performance and Psygeotic Star's stage. Wanna say thank you to all in a loud voice!
I got some appreciation for my hair too. :-D

昨日は、ついに先日書いたヘアカットコンテストの本番でした。
予選とはいえ、激戦区で全国大会への出場を勝ち取るために、本当にハードな日々を送ってきた美容師の卵ちゃんたち。私に街中で声をかけてくれた彼女も、寝る間も惜しんで練習を重ね、衣装を作り、私のイメージにあった作品を考えてくれました。メイクやネイルで協力してくれた友達とのチームで作り上げた当日の作品はこちら！モデル立ちしておりますｗ。
As I wrote before, I went to the haircut contest as a model yesterday.
It was the regional audition, but the school where my hairdresser came from had many skilled students, so it was pretty high-level audition and everyone went through such hard weeks for yesterday. She spent so much time for practice and design for me with her friends helping for the make-up and nail-design. And this is the work they made on me... standing as a model!:-D

着物の帯を使った「和」なデザインになりました。それに合わせて作ってくれたこちらのネイルも本当にきれい！

このデザインは審査員をはじめ、他の参加者やお客さんにも好評だったようで、彼女は見事全国大会出場を勝ち取りました。がんばってる様子を間近で見てきただけに、私も本当に嬉しかったです。おめでとう！！
The judge and many other competitors appreciated her work, and she won the ticket to the national contest in September. I was so glad for her especially knowing her efforts for the past month. Congratulations!

今日はIID世田谷ものづくり学校にて、キャンドルナイトのイベントに行ってきました。まずこのものづくり学校、廃校になった建物を利用してかつての教室をそれぞれアート活動、創作活動を行う人やグループに貸し出している場所で、今日はその全部を使って「電気をつけずにロウソクの光だけで過ごす」キャンドルナイトを開催していたのです。このイベントは今夜、各地でいろんな形で行われていたと思いますが、私の行ったこの会場では、教室ごとに紙芝居や写真の展示、音楽ライブなど思い思いの場所に人が集まっていました。もちろん廊下もライブの照明も全てロウソク。
私が特に見たかったのは、以前から好きだったエッセイスト／本屋／編集者の松浦弥太郎さんの朗読です。今夜はご自身の著書から数編を選んで、合間にギターをつま弾きながら読んでくださいました。ロウソクのほの暗い明かりの中、何か目に見えるものを越えて、穏やかな声がたどる言葉の世界に吸い込まれていくよう。物質的な「エコ」だけでない、不思議な時間を過ごしました。
ゆったりした気分で帰ってきたら、佐野さんの「僕らの音楽」少し始めを見逃してしまいました。。画面で見てもやっぱりかっこいいですね、佐野さん。ゴージャスなセットが似合ってました。

Tonight, I visited Ikejiri Institute of Design. This building had used to be a school, but after it was closed, a company started the project to give the space of the former classrooms for rent to many creaters and artists. Tonight specially they held the event "candle night" (as many other places did tonight), they put out the electric lights and just lit many candles all over the school, and each classroom prepared the special performance and exhibition in the candle light.
I particularly wanted to come for the recitation of my favorite essayist, Yataro Matsura. He recited from his own books and it was a wonderful experience, I think people started to feel some invisible things in his words in the dim light of candle. It was the spiritual night, not just ecological.

おはようございます！というかもうお昼ですが・・・・起きぬけの頭でぼんやりと昨夜の「雨に詠えば」を思い出しております。
もはや楽しかったことしか思い出せないなぁ。本番前はいつになく緊張しましたが、歌い始めてみればあのいつもの空気がふくらむような気持ちよさを感じながら、必殺開き直りとマイペースで、あっという間の一時間でした。続く野辺さんのステージはやっぱりパワフルであったかく、後ろで見ながらずーっとニコニコしてた気がします。そのニコニコが取れないままセッションに突入。野辺さんのお友達ミュージシャンの方々も交え、大人数のステージになりましたが、私は弾き語りの後だけに、みんなで音を出す幸せを改めて感じました。その幸せ感の覚めぬまま、朝まで沖縄料理屋で過ごし、ちょっと寝て今に至っております。
とにかく昨日は、見に来てくださった皆様と、このイベントに誘ってくださった野辺さんに大感謝です。今までも野辺さんのステージは何度も拝見してましたし、セッションでご一緒したこともありましたが、こういった形で共演させていただくと改めてその力量と度量に感動！学ぶことがいっぱいありました。雨にならなかったのが引っかかるところではありますが・・・。とにかく余韻で、体は疲れてても心が元気です。
Good morning! Well, actually it's already afternoon though... I'm trying to remember last night's gig "Sining in the rain" with my sleepy head.
Can't remember much but some good memories. I really enjoyed my stage in spite of the aweful tense before the performance. Then Nobe-san's performance ad more smile on me, and even more at the jam session with so many musician friends of Nobe-san. I felt so happy this moment especially after singing and playing the piano alone on the stage. The fun dragged till we moved to Okinawan restaurant for the after party.
Anyway, I wanna thank so much to all the people who came, and Nobe-san for offering me this opportunity. I was totally impressed with his carisma and leadership. So much to learn from him. He didn't bring the rain this time though... I feel so new despite my heavy body.

このところ見事な晴天ですね。梅雨入りというよりは夏入りな感じだなぁ。

昨日の夕方、18日に一緒にライブに出演させていただく野辺さんから当日のセッションのことで電話があり、ちょうど今野辺さんのサポートの方々と江古田の自宅スタジオでリハ中ということだったので、急遽そこにおじゃますることになりました。天気のよさも手伝って朝から自転車に乗りたい気分だったので、愛車で久しぶりの遠出。江古田に向かう道は街路樹が多く、道幅もあったので気持ち良かった！
曲の相談をした後、何となくおしゃべりで長居をしてからまたもと来た道をたどって、そのままカットコンテストの打ち合わせで三鷹まで行きました。野辺さんの曲のリハも少し聴かせていただきましたが、新曲も素敵だったしセッションは楽しくなりそうだったしで、18日へのワクワク感で帰り道のペダルもすいすいこげました。「雨に詠えば」ご期待下さいね！

Yesterday evening, I got a call from Nobe-san about the jam session on 18th gig. He said he was just having the rehearsal with his musicians at his studio that moment, so I decided to join. It was really a fine day and I was feeling for the bicycle, so I made the loong way to his town Ekoda. The road got nice trees on sides and just enough wideth for cycling, how I enjoyed the ride!
When I arrived, I had a chance to listen to Nobe-san's new song which was so cool. The session's gonna be big fun. After discussing about the session songs and talk, I went back the same way and reached Mitaka for another meeting. It was the loong way again but I felt the pedal so light, with so much expectation for 18th. Enjoy it!

唐突ですが、私けっこう髪には昔から定評があるんです。シャンプーのCMに出れるんじゃないかとはよく言われてました。その割には髪型とかヘアアレンジにはほとんど手をかけないので、よく美容室の新米さんに声をかけられてカットモデル（というと聞こえはいいですが、要は練習台です。）を頼まれることもしばしばあったんですが、先日吉祥寺を歩いていると「あのう、すみません・・・」と遠慮がちに呼び止められ。「美容専門学校の学生なんですが、今コンテストのためのヘアモデルを探していて・・・」とのこと。聞けば某有名シャンプーメーカー主催のカットコンテストの予選に出場するので、協力してほしいんだとか。おもしろそうだったので、１０分ほどいろいろ説明を聞いて、引き受けることにしました。
で、後日さっそく学校を訪れ、試しに規定のまっすぐなブローをしてもらいました。普段ほぼ何もしない頭なので、少しドライヤーとブラシで伸ばしてもらっただけで、あれよあれよという間につやつやのまっすぐヘアに。燦然と輝く天使の輪に、学生さん本人もいいモデルを拾ったと大喜びで、それを見た他の学生がわらわらと集まってきて「髪質きれい！」「まっすぐ！」「頭丸い！小さい！」とうらやましがってペタペタ触りに来るｗ。みんな髪オタク！どうやらかなりコンテスト向きな髪だったみたいです。先生からも太鼓判をもらい、これから少しずつ本番に向けてブローの練習につきあいながら、当日に作る作品の下準備として、切ったりカラーしたりしていくことになりました。すでに現在おかっぱ状態。本番ではかなりアートなカラーと衣装で出場する予定です。ちょうど１８日あたりではかなりそれに近い状態になってると思われますが、さてどうなってることやら。

Today when I was walking on the street, a girl came up and talked to me. She was studying to be a hairdresser, and looking for a model for the haircut contest. She said she really liked my hair because it was so shiny and straight.... Hmmm. I liked that compliment :-D and the story sounded interesting, so I decided to answer yes.
We already started to prepare for the contest... practice the one-length cut and blow. So as you see in the photo, my head is in quite a simple (or artistic) shape now. See how it changes on the contest day!

Trocadero　Ｈｏｕｓｅでのライブ終了しました。お越しいただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました！いろいろあって最初は久しぶりのライブに緊張もしましたが（笑）、私も個人的に大好きな場所に集まっていただき、最後はほとんどホームパーティのような気分でいました。Trocadero House、いいお店でしょ？ぜひ今後もごひいきにｗ。
サポートの森まさきさんとはほぼ２年ぶりのライブでしたが、優しい音色がやっぱり素敵でした。ラストに飛び入りでパーカッションを叩いてくれた、ブッキングの伊藤勇気くん（From Pomeranians)も本当にありがとうございました。弾き語りの後だと、サポートをしてもらえる嬉しさが身にしみました。
今日一番のびっくりは、なんと言ってもうちのお父さんが高知からこっそり見に来ていたことでしょうか。本番直前に、下北沢の駅のすぐそばで遭遇して、一瞬我が目を疑いましたよ。ちょうど明日こちらで仕事の会議があったので、娘を緊張させまいと内緒で来てたそうです。しかし身内のライブは見てて自分が緊張する、とセカンドステージはどこかに消えてしまってましたがｗ。
今日の嬉しさを糧に、野辺剛正さんとの１８日も楽しみになってきました！ご期待くださいね。
Thank you to all who came to tonight's gig at Trocadero House! It's been a while to sing solo so I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but in the end I was feeling at home, having you all in my favorite place.
It was after 2 years to play with Masaki Mori. I really appreciate his delicate tone. Yuki Ito as a booking manager of the house also joined for the last song with percussion. It was great to have the support musicians especially after accompanying myself in tense.
Most surprising thing today was to have my dad in the audience. He didn't tell me that he was gonna come all the way from Kochi, so it took me a while to understand the situation when I found him coinsidently near the station just before the gig.
Now I really can't wait for the next one on 18th with Takamasa Nobe. See you again then!
